    Storm Virtory Road Bowling Ball

    [bowlingball value="9109,i150"/]

Storm is releasing a new bowling ball soon.  More information to come, but the hype so far is that it builds on the Storm Hy-Road’s technology.

The [bowlingball value="9109"/] is currently selling for [bowlingball value="9109,price"/] and rates a [bowlingball value="9109,ps"/].

    Storm Natural Pearl

    [bowlingball value="8937,i150"/]

The [bowlingball value="8937"/] is a Urethane bowling ball set to release November 24, 2010.  Storm is going old school Urethane and I think it’s a great idea.  New technology, and the biggest hooking bowling balls are not always the best for your lane condition.  Sometimes you need to change the bowling ball you are using, and sometimes that change should be to older technology.  Storm is combining the two, with old and new technology together.

The [bowlingball value="8937"/] is currently selling for [bowlingball value="8937,price"/] and rates a [bowlingball value="8937,ps"/].

How do you think the reaction of this will compare to storm's existing natural, or brunswick's avalanche urethane?

    Storm Reign Supreme

    [bowlingball value="8901,i150"/]

The [bowlingball value="8901"/] is set to release on Oct 10, 2010. This bowling ball is using the R2S Hybrid shell, which was used on the [bowlingball value="6811"/]. This coverstock was fantastic on the [bowlingball value="6811"/], so I can’t wait to see how it reacts with the C.A.M. (Continuous Axis Migration) core.

    Brunswick Avalanche Urethane

    [bowlingball value="8461,i150"/]

It appears that most of the major bowling manufacturers are starting to remake urethane bowling balls. With their popular success on the PBA tour last season, there appears to be a market for the older technology again. Brunswick’s entry into this niche is the [bowlingball value="8461"/].

The [bowlingball value="8461"/] is currently selling for [bowlingball value="8461,price"/] and rates a [bowlingball value="8461,ps"/].

    Storm Tropical Heat Bowling Balls

    [bowlingball value="8324,i150"/]

The [bowlingball value="8324"/] is a great value for its price. This lower price point bowling ball doesn’t react like it’s lower priced. Take some time to get to know your game and don’t just purchase bowling balls that hook the whole lane. If you are looking to get better, you are going to want a lower performance bowling ball for those times that the lane is calling for it. Give the [bowlingball value="8324"/] a look to fit that position in your bowling bag.

The [bowlingball value="8324"/] is currently selling for [bowlingball value="8324,price"/] and rates a [bowlingball value="8324,ps"/].

    Storm Invasion Bowling Ball

Strom came out with their new [bowlingball value="7726"/].  I edited and posted the video a couple of weeks ago and am upset that my wrist was still hurting and I did not get a chance to throw this one.  Brian Halstrom loved it during testing and decided to throw it in league that week, shooting a whopping 781.

This bowling ball ranks [bowlingball value="7726,ps"/] and current sells for [bowlingball value="7726,price"/] on bowlingball.com.

There is an Invasion about to happen.

I have edited the video that we shot, and am saddened that my wrist is still bothering me to the point that I didn’t get to throw this one.  Brian Halstrom used the [bowlingball value="7726"/] in league last night and shot an 831.

Storm Reign Bowling Ball Release Coming Soon

Storm is coming out with a new Advanced Performance Bowling Ball called the [bowlingball value="7137"/] on 9/24/2009.  We just shot a bowling ball reaction video and plan on having it posted by the end of the week.

I must say that this bowling ball was very aggressive and reactive.  Tony Ruocco pointed out that whenever I put a balance hole on my access, the ball seems to react well for me.  It could be the visual cue that I am releasing the ball well that helps me, or it could just be coincidence.

    Storm Fast and Furious

You’ve heard of the Fast and the Furious, but did you know that it applied to bowling as well?  Ok, not in the general sense, but Storm is coming out with two new bowling balls ([bowlingball value="7066"/] & [bowlingball value="7067"/]).

You have to love the way the bowling industry plays with words to try and make them work for bowling balls.  It’s always quite interesting to me to see the New Release Bowling Balls every few months.

Keep an eye out for these two bowling balls coming at the end of May 2009.
